Ben Jones

Ben Jones is an artist who Lives and works in Western Australia. He works in sculpture and other media at the intersection of digital and manual technologies.

He is interested in the investigation and imaginings of the physical and spiritual realms, space and materials.

This work is informed by microscopic forms such as
plankton and diatoms. It incorporates intersecting
geometric forms. The use of CAD in the design process allows for very precise geometry. The work is intended to appear alien but regular, a kind of visitor in its occupied space, a vessel awaiting departure.
