Jenni Vacca
Jenni Vacca is a Perth artist who studied visual arts at North Metropolitan TAFE, The University of Western Australia, and Curtin University, and commenced a PhD in Creative Arts at Edith Cowan University, Mt Lawley, at the start of 2021.
Vacca has undertaken artist residencies at Fremantle Arts Centre and North Metropolitan TAFE, and her work was selected as a finalist in the York Botanic Art Prize, exhibited at Gallery 152, York. In 2021 she was selected as Artist-in-Residence at The Farm, Margaret River. Vacca has been expanding her ceramics skills at North Metropolitan TAFE, where her work for Sculpture at Bathers was made.

limestone walls surrounding
Fremantle’s Round House and the
weathered erosion patterns etched
into their surfaces. Temporal
processes – creation and
destruction – are embodied in the
work which is intended to be part
of the surrounding textured
landscape.
