Pavel Perina
An accomplished artist and designer, Pavel Perina graduated from the Australian School of
Fine Wood in 2001 with a diploma in Fine Furniture Design and Making. He enhanced this knowledge base by Majoring in a Design- Furniture Design degree at Curtin University of Technology. In 2007-2008 Pavel lectured degree and diploma courses in product design, interior and furniture design and 3D design software technology at Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai.
He has completed a number of private sculpture projects and fine furniture commissions. He was responsible for the design of luxury interiors for the ‘Smeralda’, the largest super yacht built in Australia by Hanseatic Marine, also working in this field for Sorgiovanni Design in Fremantle. Pavel’s proficiency in advanced use of AutoCAD and advanced use of 3-D modelling and design software guarantees projects are well thought out from inception to implementation.
He has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and won a number of awards for his work.

A nature-based twisted spiral pattern depicting the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The mathematically defined spiral pattern is Spiral Phyllotaxis, which emerges during the growth of plants like sunflowers, pine cones and pineapples. The centre has been deliberately removed to allow the viewer’s imagination to complete the pattern, while remaining open to individual interpretation.
