Artist Profile
Rima Zabaneh
Rima Zabaneh is currently enrolled as an MA by research candidate at Notre Dame University Fremantle. Zabaneh’s research examines how particular art processes can transform ubiquitous and quotidian materials into the realm of art.
Zabaneh’s work is represented in private and major art collections, including the Sheila Foundation for Women’s Art. Zabaneh won the prestigious scholarship award for Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe 2019 and the artists’ choice award for Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe 2018. Zabaneh has been a volunteer for Sculpture at Bathers since 2017 and joined the organising committee in 2018.
