Gisela Züchner-Mogall
Züchner-Mogall is a multi-disciplinary artist, with a BA in Visual Arts & Textile Design and BEd [GHK, Kassel Germany]. She works across sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, painting and digital art. Senior art teacher Christ Church Grammar School from 1988 – 2017. With seven solo exhibitions, including Gallows Gallery, Fremantle Arts Centre and Goolugatup Gallery, and numerous group shows in Australia, Japan, Washington DC and San Francisco, she is represented in many collections including Bank West, City of Albany, City of Bunbury, Curtin University, City of Melville, City of Armadale, Town of Mosman Park, New Norcia Art Collection, Christ Church Grammar School.

Gisela Züchner-Mogall – Past. Present. Future? (1+2)
Past. Present. Future? (1 + 2) reflect the impact of human actions on the environment and their consequences. The triptych’s tubes symbolise past, present, and future, representing the evolution from a harmonious relationship with nature to a dystopian future. The second piece features nine acrylic cubes, eight filled with materials found on the beach, the ninth holding an hourglass serving as powerful messages, compelling viewers to reflect on their responsibility to protect our precious natural environment before time runs out.
