Sally Stoneman
Sally Stoneman is a multi disciplinary artist, endeavouring to portray environmental fragility across mediums. Her practise incorporates recycled ‘Rabbit Proof’ fencing
wire, copper wire, natural fibres and painting The construct of time is a paradigm that intrigues and informs her art practise, the reference to time passing: the past, present, and future through the relationship to the landscape. Wire is layered to either create transparent shapes or solid forms echoing nature.

Sally Stoneman – Celtic heart
This work is created from a finger knitting loom using copper wire. The use of the long tubular form interweaving upon itself allows for experimentation. This Celtic Heart reflects the influence of the macrame practise of the artist’s mother and their connection.
