Artist Profile
Sherry Quiambao

Sherry Quiambao is an Australian/Filipino multi-disciplinary artist based in Boorloo/Perth. Working with photography, sculpture and video, she explores consumerism, cultural identity, and belonging, drawing from personal and collective histories. Her practice transforms everyday objects into narratives that reflect aspiration, migration and displacement. As a second-generation migrant, she navigates the tension between fulfilment and fragmentation. Her work has been exhibited at PCP, Goolugatup Heathcote, Sculpture by the Sea, and internationally. Recent projects include performative video installations and sculptural works, bridging personal and universal themes. She is also exhibiting as part of de-centre re-centre at LWAG for Perth Festival 2025.
