Sioux Tempestt – Temporal constructs
The sculpture reframes the natural beach environment, drawing parallels between its elements and the coastal landscape. The weathered concrete block mirrors the beach’s textures, symbolising time and nature’s resilience, while the delicately balanced metal forms represent industry and Fremantle’s evolving future. Combining these materials highlights the interplay between nature and human innovation. Through colour and negative space, the work encourages a deeper appreciation of Manjaree’s beauty and the delicate balance between preservation and progress.
