Tony Davis
Tony has a background as an Art Educator and has been exhibiting paintings and sculpture since 1973 including 7 solo exhibitions and in Sculpture By The Sea 24 times, having won the major award at Bondi in 2022. Wood is his favoured medium for sculpture, often in concert with Corten steel. His works focus on the intimate relationships between man and the environment. His works are included in many private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas including Minderoo, Snowy Mountains Sculpture Trail, Kerry Stokes, Bunbury City, Eden Gardens and Gowing Brothers.

Tony Davis – Ramble
Continuing the exploration of Donald Judd’s assertion about man-made structures “if it’s not functional, it must be Art”, Ramble is a form of folly. It is an animated coalescence of memories of the robust heritage structures that punctuated the wheatbelt landscape where the artist grew up (railway bridges, tank stands, windmills etc.), and utilises the materials that retain structural integrity salvaged from them to spark our collective memories.
