Equinox is part of a series of sculptures inspired by geographical memories of landscapes, cultures, and places traversed, inhabited, and left behind. Through moulding and shaping clay, Espinosa uncovers a profound connection to the land, with the transformative process mirroring the cyclical rhythms of nature. This work embodies a sense of belonging, interwoven with my experience of existing between places and cultures.
