Artist Statement
16 Table legs, balanced on concrete Jelly moulds, are presented in the shape and size of a ‘table’. Attached to each leg is a branch of peppermint tree. The branches have been stitched with found blankets. The table legs/jelly mould shapes are used to represent home with blankets for security. The use of concrete represents ‘concrete thinking’ that continues to place our natural environment in jeopardy. ‘Sit’ at my table. How you can contribute to the climate change debate?
