Every day the artist walks with his dog Austin around Manning Lake in Perth. This walk often delivers feathers shed by the variety of birds inhabiting this wetland environment. Intriguingly delicate objects, they are the component of wings which create flight. These totemic-like sculptures take inspiration from the structure of feathers and their varied colours and patterns.
