Remedy is part of a series exploring the human skeletal form. Recent health issues have been heavy on the artist’s mind and as such she strives to detail these in her work. In this artwork the human hip joint has been abstracted. The sculpture retains a sense of unease of the skeletal form whilst abstraction lends an air of beauty to the subject matter.
